Wine is a creative occupation. Broadening the interpretation field of a grape variety is exciting; take the Pinot Noir from Burgundy, move it 12,000 km away, to the Southern hemisphere, by the ocean,

wake up every morning in the mist created by the Pacific cold waters, and you will discover flavours unknown until now, powerful, and of incredible delicacy.

As the culinary art assembles textures and flavours to create a gustatory emotion, it is fascinating to explore new terroirs in all these Chilean valleys and to plant the ideal varietal that will produce the wine that one seeks.

For example, the Carménère, an old varietal from Bordeaux, which had difficulty in fully ripening under the French sun, here in Chile, it finds an absolutely perfect ground for expression: the beautiful extended autumn without rain allows the slow maturation of the tannins, which makes wines of strong personality, soft and balanced, with marked and elegant flavours…
