We are please to announce Cesar Chaud as the new director of Vina Punto Alto-chile since the 1st of september 2008, following the departure of his precedent, Julian Grubb.

The harvest in Chile started at the beginning of March and will spread out up to the middle of May 2008. Sauvignon was the first harvested followed by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir finishing with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère.

Julian Grubb, oenologist and manager of Viña Punto Alto in Casablanca is optimistic: " weather predictions are good. The Pinot Noir should be excellent as well as all Bordeaux grape varieties. As in 2007, this promise of quality and an abundant quantity is going to allow us to constitute significant supplies for the next campaign ".
